Join the Team
I’m building a team, not just running a campaign
Traditional campaigns recruit volunteers for the election, then everyone disappears. I’m doing something different.
I’m looking for people who want to help now – and once I’m elected, continue as part of how I work as your councillor. Think of it as community organising that starts during the campaign and keeps going.
What I need help with right now
Talking to residents
Join me to knock doors, hear what people care about, and have real conversations. This is the most valuable thing you can do – it shapes my priorities and builds relationships that last beyond election day.
Occasional deliveries
Help distribute materials when there’s something important to share with residents. This might be updates on local issues or information people need. Deliver at your own pace and schedule.
Your ideas
I’m still figuring out what this team looks like. If you have skills, ideas, or time to offer – let’s talk about how it could work.
What happens if you win?
This isn’t a one-and-done campaign. Once I’m elected, the people-powered approach continues:
- Helping organise community responses to planning, roads, facilities
- Supporting resident-led initiatives
- Keeping me informed about what’s happening locally
- Being part of problem-solving, not just problem-reporting
You’d be helping me work as a councillor, not just helping me become one.
Interested?
Let me know what appeals to you. Even if you’re not sure yet, get in touch – I’d value the conversation.
